Next to a lot of set extensions (both 3D and 2D), the renderings from the amazing 3D team needed to be composited properly. Knowledge of various 3D softwares was key for bringing this baby home.
Old (and pretty crappy) VHS footage was used as reference. Originally modeled and textured in Blender, the scene was then brought into Unreal for further fun.
A full CG presentation film for streaming service Visoon, comissioned by Breuerfilm. There's very little in VFX that's more fun than outer space stuffs. Done in Blender, iClone, Nuke and After Effects
Blender was used to combine, model, texture and shade the various 3D elements, whereas the character's animation was done in iClone. Finally, Nuke and AE were used to bring it home. A very satisfying project that was!
What a project! Set to play in the "metaverse", a whole lot of CGI solutions had to be knitted together to float this boat. Misuta VFX did the whole shabang, from previz till final touches.
